135 Acts of Kindness & Discipleship
As part of our 135th church anniversary, Walker Memorial Baptist Church is launching 135 Acts of Kindness & Discipleship, a year-long movement to transform and impact communities through discipleship in action.
From April 26, 2026 through April 25, 2027, we are inviting our church family and community to join us in serving others with intention, compassion, and love.

How It Works
Our Purpose
Transforming Communities Through Discipleship
At Walker Memorial, we believe discipleship is not only something we learn, it is something we live. 135 Acts of Kindness & Discipleship is an opportunity for us to show the love of Christ in practical ways throughout our church, our neighborhoods, and our city.
Whether through organized church service projects, ministry-led outreach, or individual acts of kindness, each act becomes part of a larger witness of faith in action.
How It Works
Corporate Acts
Walker Memorial will lead and organize acts of service throughout the year as a church family.
Individual Acts
Participants are encouraged to complete individual acts of kindness in their daily lives and track their progress throughout the year.
Youth Participation
Children and youth will also be invited to participate with their own age-appropriate acts of kindness and tracking tools.
Upload Photos & Videos
We invite you to document your acts of kindness by uploading photos and videos throughout the year. These submissions may be used to celebrate the impact of the initiative and help tell the story of what God is doing through our church family.
